Yesterday I went to the bank and applied for my first card in Poland. Since I didn’t know my home address clearly, I opened google maps and showed it to the bank employee and he said he added it (my card will go to that address) . When I got home, I saw the inscription on the building and realized that the bank employee had written it incorrectly. I’m trying to fix this in my bank account, but the “apartment number” and “house number” part confused me. Above the apartment P****** 94 it’s writing. But I don’t know if this is the ”house number” or the apartment number

  1. If you live in a house then you only fill in the „house number”.
If you live in a flat then you put building number in the „house number” and your flat’s number in the „apartment number”.

  2. Example: Street Name 21/37. Here, 21 is the house/building number, and the apartment/flat number is mostly after the slash, so in our case, it will be 37.

House/building numbers, in some cases, can be 12A, which is also normal. In most cases, filling 21/37 (written together) in the first form field called building/house number would be fine.

  3. Okay, so do you know when you like type code to get to your apartament? Like 78#CODE and you enter
So the 78 is apartament number, now depending on the street you dont even need block number.
So if you have like street something something there can be numbers on the end like this 23/68 or 17 or whatever. (Example street 21/37)
So if you have streets with numbers like those then you just type it in the street field, and type apartament number both in house and apartament label. It just works like that.
But If you have no number at the end then you need to use flat number in plaxe where house is.

So you just type your P****** 94 in the street and fill labels with house and apartament with the same number (of apartament) and they will get it right

  4. House Number refers to the building’s street address.

Apartment Number applies to multi-tenant buildings with separate apartments which have their individual numbers within the building and separate mail boxes
