I’m confused about this.
Is this a good thing or a bad thing? Considering that Danilov has made a (believably strong) argument that Russia may fully mobilize after the elections in March 2024 (nevermind that Russia may not be able to fully mobilize at that time and they would barely train the troops anyway), the fact that Ukraine is planning to mobilize sooner than later could be a sign that Ukraine is now willing to go all in on getting back a good amount of their territory before the March 2024…
It has to be done, not enough soldiers for next year.
Problem is, Russia could mobilize more too, they have millions of zombie serfs on welfare, they wont even protest, just mindlessly march into war.
To win this war of attrition, Ukraine MUST have better weapons, advanced weapons, its the only way to inflict high casualty ratio on Ruzzies and hopefully defeat their numerical advantage.
NATO MUST stop playing trickle support with older weapons, give Ukraine the BEST and in large quantity, if they truly want to prevent WW3.
Mobilization could also mean there are not enough volunteers.
Or they have amassed enough equipment to support another division or two.
I mean, it should be a thing. The enemy is literally in your country and doing their best to eradicate you all. It’s everybody’s responsibility.
The only reason why Ukraine does creeping mobilization is because there are not enough materials for enlisting hundreds of thousands of people at the time. I wonder what changed.
