I made stifado today and I thought: Greek food is appreciated, but not as much as it should be. They’re up there with France, Italy and Spain as far as I’m concerned.
From kleftiki to souflaki, from Kalamata olives to Nemea wine, it’s all great. I’m very happy we’ve got a half-way decent Greek restaurant in my small city, so I can get some mezes whenever I want.
