Rare English post coming through here: looking to do a clone build of one of your country’s issue Galil rifles, and noted that they use a very distinctive pattern of sling that I’ve never seen elsewhere. Read an article saying that the company B&T makes this sling, but B&T per contact with them denies ever doing so.
Images of rifles with the sling I’m talking about are below: you can see it’s got an HK style snap hook but a strange metal tab just behind it.

If any of you are currently going through conscription and can identify the model of the sling in question, I would appreciate it greatly. Tänan väga!

Keegi scoutsist vast oskab öelda, vaevalt keegi ajateenistuses seda tähele paneb

As if a conscript would give a rats ass about who made their sling 😀
Also AFAIK conscripts are given cheaper slings with plastic buckles (eg from Galvi-Linda).
Siin peaks juba selgelt kaitsepolitsei sekkuma.
Looks slightly like traditional GL, these we had anyway. I don’t know about today.

I hated it.
Edit: Okay, apparently there’s no black metal bit.
So Russian spys have made to the Estonian subreddit.
Use militaar.net forum for this kind of info.
Conscripts don’t get the the fancy stuff. Those are probably Scouts
We are currently in the process of phasing out Galils as standard issue rifles.
The new one is R-20 made by LMT.
Scouts already made the switch.
So the relevant info to answer your question will be harder to find.
More on the R-20
