50 mins from Dublin me hoop. Some estate agent distances going on there.
Surely for the Coors you’d just buy two 12 packs??
Nearly €50 smackers for a pack of fucking Coors with MUP?!?!? Ah would you ever stop, what an absolute fucking joke. I’ve always said traveling up to the North couldn’t be worth it and probably still isn’t for the most part. But I could definitely see myself heading up for the likes of Xmas/New Years/special occasions and filling the van up to the gills.
€50 fucking quid? For piss water?? That couldn’t be right surely? Jesus that’s woeful.

First easy access to medical cannabis (through project 21) and now this.
The north is actually looking like an attractive area of the country to live.
Fair play to them. Benefiting from our stupidity
Road Trip??
20 bottles of Amstel and a few black cat bangers please!
The fuck is Morrisons Cider, 16.25 for 24 cans? Must be awful
Someone is going to make a fortune bringing drink across the border I can imagine the future posts over on Garda info on Twitter in the coming months.🤣
I very rarely drink but I’m pissed about this!
Repeal the MUP
Start brewing your own. Kits are cheap and the ones I get are tasty.
I’m up there once or twice a week in an artic, if r/ireland makes me a good offer I have a few pallet spaces spare.
Serious question. Will this actually last? Like, will retailers and Diagio and the likes put pressure on the guovernment to at least decrease prices when it impacts their sales or is this just it? The new normal, as it were.
All this talk of booze makes me want to drink! It’s not working!!!
Could having to take a minimum intelligence test, be made a mandatory condition,of being a td or senior civil servant?

I found this price calculator, since the minimum price is based on the amount of alcohol in a can/bottle it should give you the minimum price of 1 then multiply by how many you want.
Off-licences north of Dublin are going to be badly hit.
All this policy is going to do is take more money from families with Alcholics, and turn young people to drugs that are now cheaper than drink.
Its a disgrace in my opinion.
Yeeeeooow 😜🤣
I’d go just to give the finger to the shower that brought MUP in. If any decent opposition party pledged to remove it in their manifesto it would bring down the government along with all the other current shams the shower are doing.
*Southbound from Down*
*Loaded up and truckin’*
*We gonna do what they say can’t be done*
Reminds me of my first year working in Dublin as a new grad mid 2008. 15 grads started at the same time and it was basically an extension of uni for 2 years with how much we went out. The euro was worth nearly the same as a pound. I’m from Derry and anytime I went home I’d have a big drinks order to bring down for my workmates on the Monday morning.
Getting flashbacks of driving over the border with my mum to get fuel.
These new prices are very sobering….. I’ll see myself out
Slabs will be discontinued in most southern shops now. Starting with Dunnes
I’m from the north so I sense a profitable business arising haha.
But in all seriousness isn’t the Irish tax revenue going to be hit hard, like most tax comes from cigs and alcohol. Alot of people are just going to stop or go north so the government will lose more money than gain on this
Two coors 12 packs is €30 for 24 cars not €45
Just buy two seperate and save on petrol

I currently have 100L (200 bottles split into 4 flavours) of cider fermenting that cost around £100 off [Ebay](https://www.ebay.co.uk/str/brewcobrewingsupplies).
