    >Driven by ideological obsession, the Tories move still further from ordinary voters

  2. Britain is the 11st toddler and the Tory party is the abusive parent.

They would rather sell us all into an early grave than relinquish an iota of power.

  3. “In any future leadership contest, we will all remember how they acted this week. We need real, gutsy, freedom-loving Conservatives to rescue us from this madness.”

Apparently they haven’t learnt from Brexit when they got exactly the person they asked for.

  4. We would not need harsher measures if the government acted quicker. We tend to wait a few weeks to act, which is enough for a new variant to spread around the country and cause multiple outbreaks, overwhelming local NHS services. If the media would stop acting as if being proactive is spreading fear then we might see the government act in the manner you would expect them to in a crisis.

  5. Imagine if the rebellion were so great that the Tories actually *lost* a vote on introducing further COVID restrictions…

  6. The conservative party needs to be purged of its looney members. Eventually it’s going to be voted back to where it was in the Blair years.

Edit: I said fringe. It’s not a looney Fringe for a while. It’s just all there MPs. Mogg is in the fucking cabinet FFS, And Truss is a leadership candidate. I’m center-left (so Reddit right wing) and even I see they need to be be destroyed.

  7. Tories call general election

Tories commit to no vaccine mandates or lockdowns

Labour take bait “well akshually some lockdowns and mandates may be required”

Labour lose even more working class votes.

  8. Told by whom?

    Oh, Tory backbench loons. Standard.

Not that it would be better if it were a majority of voting loons, but I feel this message can be safely ignored as yet more rotten grifter gashery.

  9. Don’t want to go ruining your chances of a good careers move by actually saving lives. Much easier to lets them die, protect taxation and get a great career move, even if you have to walk over the dead to do it
