Lol one of the best things about grocery shopping in the USA is that I don’t have to look for a coin anymore. Carts here are free.
I don’t even carry cash, let alone a quarter.
One exception though. I recently went to Aldi’s and those fuckers required a coin. I had to go in and exchange dollar for some quarters.
I just bring my own foldable cardboard cart.
one of my biggest pet peeves and certainly with corona. Like why the fuck are they still there? I don’t carry cash anymore!

You think i give a fuck about the wooden coin? it’s a pure outdated system that’s getting on my nerves especially since with corona the trolleys are gone!

If you’ve got a 3D printer you can just print something for that. Really handy.
I use an old key I always have in my wallet. No fussing about getting it of the key ring.

Carts are an invention of satan, made to make my shopping experience more miserable.
I did it once few months ago, then I felt like an ifiot right after cause it took me like 3 minutes to get it it back out.
At the store I used to work you could unlock the card by pressing the key thing in the money slot
I just keep a two and one euro coin in my shopping bag.
This is nice though.
It was a bit stressy at first. I had nothing on me (coins nor plastic coins from teh store) but then I saw the key. I thought *let’s go for it*, worked out fine. Enjoy
