Couples who choose to have pets over children are ‘selfish’ – says Pope Francis

  1. Oddly enough I was thinking about the ol’ heaven and hell concept last night.

I engage in regular recreational sex with a divorced man on the regular and I love it.

Is that a ticket to H Town?

  2. Church who keeps refusing to pay it’s abuse victims while holding onto its assets with an iron grip calls people selfish…..

    Good one, Franco.

  3. The possibility of having to bang a families cat/dog/budgie instead of a families children is obviously causing deep concern for some.

  4. On the one hand I agree that when so many kids are waiting for adoption it would be seen that way when you get a pet, but on the other, we are living in a system where we can’t afford to exist ourselves with roofs over our heads, even as couples. Adding another mouth to feed isn’t going to bring much joy to a broke couple or for the adopted child.

  5. ‘“He that is without sin among you, let him cast the first stone at her.”  Jesus

The Pope has a lot to learn.

  6. My husbands nana, I called her gran. She was such a beautiful person inside and out, anyway she was called down to the local priest for a meeting. The priest said to her, why are you not doing your wifely duties for your husband. You do realise only giving him two babies is embarrassing for him.

She told me she was so upset after the meeting and when she went home and told her husband he told her to ignore the Fu(ker

What 😱😱😱 how do they think it’s ok to say stuff like this to people

  7. You should pass stringent psychological and financial tests to prove you can be provide a good upbringing for kids, after all in you need to a licence for an animal.. and before the downvoting to Oblivion beings, don’t tell me you haven’t said certain people shouldn’t be parents….

  8. So the world is buckling under the weight of so many humans, climate change is accelerating, we are battling a global pandemic, and this guy is…telling us to make more humans???

  9. Sure you can hardly expect the church to sell assets to keep its bullshit going can you? Do as god would want! Ride your missus without a rubber constantly and tell your children about the lad that’s a ghost and his own dad and himself who is omnipotent but not great at the aul finances and who therefore needs you to go to his gaff every wknd to throw him a few bob for altar wine, crackers and the occasional lawsuit

  10. I remember the parish priest telling us it was a sin to choose not to have a baby for financial reasons, like so you could afford to buy a new washing machine. He said this to a class of primary school girls in the 80’s. I’ll never forget it, I thought it was crazy, even as a kid 🙄🙄🙄

  11. TBH, having children is one of the, if not the most selfish thing a person can do. It’s completely self-serving. This worl is cruel and unkind and does not need additional population fucking up the earth, you take something that does not exist make it sentinent and then subject it to the cruelness and harshness this world has to offer; I never asked to be born but now I have rent and bills to pay. To have a child is to create a being that is supposed to love you unconditionally, and that is a child’s meer prupose. It does not benefit your neighbour or those outside your immediate family. Having a baby is normally a form of self-fulfillment, I WANT to have a baby, or seen as some form of self betterment; just a general desire to have offspring and sonfirm the passage of one’s DNA onto the next generation. Babies are infact one of the most harmful things to the planet in terms of global warming; the amount of CO2 a new baby contributes to the world wipes out the net positives of 25 years of vegetarianism in roughly three months. I mean people who want kids are still going to have kids, but the vast majority is for selfish reasons; I want to have a kid therefore I will have a kid; nothing wrong with it but to say having a pet is selfish but a kid is not is ludacris.
