My theory is most everyone who physically laid the mines and those directly overseeing the process are all dead.
If, that’s a large ‘if,’ by the way, they did any documentation at all, I’m guessing it’s largely incomplete, completely incoherent drunken markings on scattered soviet maps, or maybe just completely incinerated along with the personelle.
