I know that even if numbers appear low in some categories…every single digit is hard won and fought fiercely for and paid with brave Ukrainian lives….
I’m not talking about how many tanks and men Russia might have in all, but how can they keep getting 1k people killed a day, how do you get that many bodies out to the front to die everyday. 1k everyday is just such a ridiculous number for me, but 7k in a week? 30k in a month? I don’t even know how to express how upsetting and awful a person must be to commit their young men to go die for nothing invading their neighbor. Putin is a true monster.

I don’t understand how word hasn’t gotten out to the general public in Russia that going to Ukraine is a suicide mission. How are there this many people who are still lining up to go when your chances of coming home is near zero. Shouldn’t the men who are left be refusing to go?
orks attempted a big push in Marinka (west of Donetsk, under Krasnohorivka), but were repelled. destroyed equipemnt confirmation still pending, but primary sources saying that around 20 ork machines were destroyed.
orks entered fucking Khromove (east of Bakhmut). not entirely under their control, but i expect UA to move away from the settlement. the settlement is in low lands, surrounded by hills. further progress of the orks should be harder as it’ll be uphill. but still a bummer. it’s been under attack for at least a month. it creates a buffer zone in front of Bakhmut. it’s also the northern road from Bakhmut to Chasiv Yar. let’s hope the hills are well fortified and further advancment will be unsuccessful and very costly for orks.
in Kupyansk region, orks attempted an advance on Synkivka, but were repelled.
in Avdiivka, the line seems to be stable, but the contested area expanded around Stepove (north of Avdiivka). orks made a big push on Stepove and the chemical plant. they were destroyed by UA FPVs. the big push wasn’t a massive meat wave as previously, but orks attempted it with many smaller groups, supported by IFVs. the result is implied in the losses in OP’s picture. it’s reported, that UA uses extensively the shells for distant mining, which proves to be lethal for ork machines. this push took its toll however, as UA made yet another set of dents into the contact line, which is profiled by the railway. this is thanks to the immediate UA counter attack after the ork-attempted push. newly captured positions are visually confirmed.
orks are extensively shelling the city itself, where another industrial zone is located (the previous one, on the southern outskirts of Avdiivka was previously totally destroyed by the orks and now they’re trying to stabilise their positions over there, with difficulties and losses).
the Leo 1 that was damaged yesterday, was apparently immobilised by a mine. and only after that the ork arty started shelling it. Like lemmings over the cliff, putin with his hand winding the meat grinder, will it stop? Not while the bloody butcher keeps stuffing the russians into the grinder. The real question is which country will be first to put troops on the ground to help defeat putin and his blind followers?
