Many more questions on the Euro, the EU management of the covid crisis or Macron’s propositions for French presidency of the EU Council.
These data mean that if there were a referendum today, at most 33% would vote for Frexit, because neutral voters default to stability.
We’re not alone in our Euroscepticism it seems.
I just don’t get it are 33% of french people dumb? France is the country which has the most to gain from EU. Fkn hell
How trust worthy is this poll?
The EU will no longer be a thing in 2030. It is time for Macron to move on and embrace NATO and cut the EU army nonsense
To all those EU haters and Frexit supporters, explain to me what is france alone? What is any country in Europe alone? Can any country genuinely say that they can stand toe to toe against superpowers such as China, USA, Russia? Can any country in Europe singel handedly resist from falling to US, Russian or Chinese influence?
What will happen to a Europe without EU? Answer: France and Germany find them selves on opposite sides, Turkeys influence grows in the balcans and Bulgaria, Russia gobbles up the Baltic states, ukraine, Poland. Southern European states (Spain, Italy and Greece fall into another economical crisis.

One advantage an independent France would have it’s that it can strike a great free trade deal with one of it’s neighbours without EU interference.
dear Brussels, tread lightly and carefully, especially for the next 5 months
the advantages are :
erasmus (oh wait non eu country have access to it too)
free trade(or you can be like switzerland, norway or even brasil)
potential united state of europe led by france (still a weak way to conquer europe smh and no garantee france is going to keep the lead forever)
hating on uk with friends
the disadvantages are :
loss of sovereignty
corruption
being ruled by an oligarchy hurt our feeling
forced privatization of key sector (electricity, dam, train, airport…)
it hurt our superior culture to live with very differents cultures (eastern or nothern europe just feel farther culturaly than nothern africa or as close as south america or central/west africa)
France would have voted for Frexit if they were given the chance. The only difference between them and us lot here were that we got given the chance.
It’s hilarious that the most euroskeptic country in western Europe ended up with the most pro-Europe president
Shoutout to the 1% beeing honest about not knowing the intricate pros and cons of a multinational partnership for their country.
The EU is a dead end project for France. Anyone with two brains can see it. Scandinavia and the Netherlands will follow Germany unconditionally and more often than not clash with French ideals. The newly added countries in Central and Eastern Europe likewise always look to Germany, and once they become more relevant economically it’s game over for France. It’s rather natural, France has no reason to look towards Northern and Eastern Europe.
Well, given my experience with french, this does not surprise me. They’re quite close minded and xenophobic. And, well, remember how many people participated in the yellow wests movement. Or the fact that they were close in electing a pro-russian populist president (Penn). It does feel like there’s a sizeable part of people in france that are complete imbeciles.
How can so many French be unhappy with membership of an organisation they have so much influence over?
I have a renewed respect for the French, not because they’re skeptic, but because they have some doubts about the union despite the intrusive EU propaganda everywhere.
A counter point to this is that the head of the nationalistic party (RN) was told to not campaign on a Frexit because it was too unpopular. So it’s not like people don’t like the EU or want none of it.

Macron himself suggests it was likely to happen. [Here](https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com/world/2018/jan/21/emmanuel-macron-uk-yes-no-brexit-vote-mistake) and given that France often appears on polls as one of the most euroskeptic nations, I honestly believe they would have done it too, with an equally slim margin like here.
