The source notes that this is actually the only major railway connection between Russia and China. And currently this route, which Russia uses, specifically for military supplies, is paralysed.
*”On the night of 29-30 November, an explosion occurred on the Baikal-Amur Mainline in the Severomuysky Tunnel, named after Vladimir Bessolov, located in Buryatia (Russia).”*
*”Quote: “Four explosive devices went off during the movement of the freight train. Now the FSB is working on the spot, and railway workers are unsuccessfully trying to minimise the consequences of the SSU’s special operation.””*
So explosives on the train went boom inside a tunnel. Not so easy to clean up that mess. Enjoy Russia and China.
Now we just need EU to properly sanction countries that send goods into Russia as harshly as Russia are sanctioned. Consider anything in contact with Russia as plague.
Brilliant work. Too early to assess damage, but it could be huge and put that tunnel out of action for a long while.
Great strategic play.
China wants stability and this isn’t helpful.
That’s what China gets for supplying mortar shells, parts and those golf-cart like vehicles.
Yes yes more of this.
Great news
Uh. I’m not sure if I like this move. Ukraine really shouldn’t piss of China needlessly, they already have their handful with Russia without China outright supplying them.
Good. More of that
Anyone who feels a bit rusty about their geography would do well to look up the place on a map. That’s seriously far from the Ukrainian border and if I was in Russian high command I’d be shitting myself over that a major operation with potentially devastating consequences was carried out so accurately so deep within my own country.

Makes absolute sense
