Most of the American military aid to Ukraine is spent in the USA. About 90% of the $68 billion approved by the Congress goes to Americans. These funds are used to produce new weapons or replace weapons shipped from the American stockpiles.

Hey lookit! That aid largely benefits the people in the red states.
It is info like this the american people needs but I hope its not too late.
For too long the politicians have been basking in the glory of how much were spent on Ukraine without explaining excactly how and why, and how much it actually help the US economy.
And of course dark forces have been using this against the war effort. I even have read about numbers like 130 billion$
Most Americans know this. The only ones who don’t are the supposed *lions* who follow the infotainment candidates.
People will still explain you how this war is fake and its money laundering operation to screw Americans.
US producing weapons for Ukraine is a good thing. Not going to change my mind with a deceptive title like this.
Do you think people should make these weapons for free? Private companies make these weapons. Private companies that have to pay people’s salaries. Salaries which put food on their families tables. Ramping up production means real people working more hours.
This is not a zero sum game where all aid marked for Ukraine has to go to ukraine. It would be a different reality if Ukraine had the factories, technology, and manpower to create these weapons in country. But they don’t. They’re a LITTLE BUSY right now.
Want more aid to go to Ukraine? Raise it yourself. Everyone I’ve ever met in the US has supported Ukraine. I live in NY and every other house I drive by has a Ukrainian flag on it.
Take a better look at US politics and blame the individuals withholding aid, not all US citizens. ❤️
It’s a strange time in the states when war hawk progressives gotta make conservatives fall in love with military spending and conservatives start talking about wasteful military spending and how that money can be used at home.
This was all pretty obvious from jump, the dipshits complaining are doing so based on their political ideology. So unless they work directly for a MIC supplier, they aren’t going to care. Personally, I’m for it. We spent trillions developing weapon systems to defeat the Russian military, let them eat. The whole world has seen that even the T-90’s aren’t up to snuff against Javelins and NLAWS. I’m sure the Chinese are glad they started developing their own tanks and weren’t leaning on Soviet designs. Though, i’d have to expect that all the world’s major militaries are watching the changing face of war with off the shelf drones smashing armor for pennies on the dollar.
Also, BAE up in PA must be raking it in.
Of course this is true, but after the last 20 years i firmly do not believe that a certain past-its-glory-Party is all that interested in the wealth of its voters.
