Is this what I have to turn to let out the air pressure. I just moved into a new apartment and the heater in the kitchen doesn’t seem to work right. I have been told it’s a shitty heater (one pane ) but still I am trying to see what can be done because the heater just doesn’t get hurt enough and it sorta transfers into the living room and the living room gets cold even though the heater works in there
Is this what I have to turn ?

That heater is missing the thermostat. That’s where you attach the knob. You can buy them on amazon or at a local hardware store for like 10-20€. They usually look [like this](https://cdn02.plentymarkets.com/4sxxkzoc56nt/item/images/439267/full/Thermostatkopf-M30-x-1-5-Heizkoerperthermostat-H_4.jpg).
No. Wrong place. The dial on the valve is only to indicate how to put the Thermostat on, the cogs to secure it in place and the thing in the middle gets pushed down by the thermostat to regulate how much hot water it lets through. Put it Back on.
Check the other end of the heating element, there should be something like a nut to something.
