Apologies for the English, I’m a second generation Dane living in Canada and my Danish is pretty rudimentary. I’ve been looking for a recipe for what my Farmor always called Almond Kringle. Unfortunately we lost all of her recipes when she passed away.

Would anyone have a more traditional recipe for something like this they’re willing to share? All my Googling is giving me very americanized, iced versions with cream cheese fillings. Where as hers was flaky, buttery and filled with an almond paste.

Even if there’s a better name I should be looking up, it would be appreciated.
