France is changing their 10 cent, 20 cent, and 50 cent coin designs in 2024! The new coins will depict Simone Veil, Josephine Baker, and Marie Curie.

12. At least they managed to keep the face of the prophet off their coins. Would’ve been a very French move.

13. One benefit of us finally adopting the Euro will be that we’ll get to have cool new designs instead of “Number on front, eagle on back” for every single coin.
