Police are at the scene of an ongoing incident at a hotel in the Sevenoaks area of Derry city this evening.
The Belfast Telegraph understands that a number of police units were called to the Premier Inn shortly after 7:30pm.
Video from the scene shows five PSNI Landrovers and seven police cars at the incident with officers standing in the doorway of the hotel.
More details to follow.

Is it normal for the BelTel to refer to Derry as Derry?

Apparently on facebook people are claiming it was a bunch of people trying to escape abject poverty and persecution, which the staff were alright to help them and give a room for the night. It was only later when they asked for details did they realise the people were from Strabane and that is when the cops arrived in force.
Probably the cops from Galgorm fighting again
Travellers in the wee bar attached to it, whole thing got rowdy and sure enough fists got thrown.
Well down south they’ve been fighting and stabbing each other at these places
