  1. They can have a high tolerance all they want. That doesn’t backfill losses.

  2. Being dispicably inhumane and being infinite are not the same thing.

The effectiveness of their army shrinks as they push lower and lower caliber mobiks into the furnace. If the war were going well for them, they wouldn’t be where they are – smashing their stupid brains out against Adiivka – a small salient less than 7km across literally on the doorstep of land they’ve controlled for a decade.

Talking like they are infinite and their victory is inevitable gives them way too much credit. They’re getting their ass kicked, and while they will be able to mush poorly trained, poorly equipped, low functioning goblins forward for a while yet – that’s not the same as saying that they’re winning.

There’s no mental gymnastics sufficient to make a credible case that they’re winning the war. They haven’t achieved a single strategic objective in over a year and a half. They’re losing a quarter million men per year, losing equipment they can’t replace, and still aren’t moving foward. All they can actually do is lob long range weapons indiscriminately at civilian targets and infrastructure.

Their lists of allies is short and shitty, China has refused to give them the offensive weapons that might actually move the needle, they’ve destroyed their primary energy export market and become the junior vassal partner to China in their Axis of Authoritarian Shitholes.

The only thing they can actually do well is export mischief, misery, misniformation, mayhem and death. Talking like “ukraine has failed” and “russia will inevitably win” is a direct line to that misinformation bullshit.

If they had been successful, China would have invaded Taiwan by now and they would be daring the western world to do anything about facts on the ground. Instead, Ukraine has no choice but to fight an existential apocalyptic battle of survival, with last-generation NATO hardware, and has prevented the entire Dictator’s Quid Pro Quo with Iran, North Korea, China, Russia and India from coming to reality.

We aren’t quite as grateful to Ukraine as we should be. The politicians who are grousing about supporting Ukraine are exposing themselves to be the paid shills they were always suspected of being. It’s not remotely about the money – their truculence is also part of the Russian PR campaign.

Fight this war now with old stockpiles and a small amount of money, of you’ll be fighting it with your children’s blood in a few years.

  3. The Russian czar doesn’t care about absolute strength, only relative one. And if that results in him being king of rubble, then so be it, burn it all to the ground and have him be last man standing. The ruskyi mir is a special, that’s for sure.

  4. Huh.

    Did they finally just notice?

And would anything get done about it?

  5. It’s a cult. Kind of like trump supporters in America.

  6. there is a difference between tolerance and stupidity. Losing thousands of tanks in two years while producing 20 something per month. This is not tolerance, this is stupidity.

  7. Total disregard for the suffering of their own people is kind of Russia’s thing.
