  1. The GOP’s presidential frontrunner had himself a bit of an unhinged social media binge over the last couple days, using Truth Social to air his scattered grievances. The consequences were immediate.

  3. I think pretty soon we’re going to need to dispense with this quaint notion that anything Trump says have any personal consequences tied to them. Yes, his little tantrum probably factored in on getting the gag order reinstated, but thus far the only consequences he’s had from violating these orders have come in the form of fines. Fines which he more than paid for through fundraising off of the situation. Unless they’re willing to pull the trigger and throw him in pre-trial detention without internet access, there are no consequences.

    What’s a $5000 fine to someone when they can raise 250k off of it? I’ll tell you what it is, a windfall.

    Google isn’t producing a single thing that he actually did. He said he was going to do some things, but they never materialized and the things he did actually follow through with didn’t really seem to help.

  17. Many people don’t think Trump wanted to actually win his first presidency. I was thinking early this morning, What if he doesn’t really want to win this time either? Perhaps it’s all about the grift for now

  18. What’s more insane is how the US’s “justice system” is allowing this terrorist leader to do this. If Trump was a poor person driving a bus, he’d be serving a 30 year sentence by now. But because he’s a wealthy former president he gets special consideration

    The thing that bugs me about Conservatives (in any country, but especially the US and Canada) is… They see some asshole spouting off nonsense and being a tragically idiotic prick and they’re like “that’s my fucking guy!” and they’re devoted to them for life.

    Like, if Trudeau had any inklings of a sex scandal, conservative folks would never shut up about it. But apparently, that’s not a deal breaker when it’s their guy?
