2. If Sunak goes anywhere near the leadership he needs to be open and transparent about his dealings with the ‘Tufton Street Mafia’ and his negotiations with private firms to sell off the NHS.

3. I’ve been saying this for a while now. The Tories are going to oust Boris and bring in Rishi just in time for the next general election so that they can say, ‘look! We’re a new and improved Tory party now!’ The tabloid readers will lap it up and the tories will win by a landslide.

30. There is no decent replacement, any likely Tory is just as scummy as Bozo. If you believe a Tory then you’re part of the problem. There are alternatives, but for all your protestations you’re not prepared to do anything other than write on a ballot paper.

    I suppose one good thing that may come out of this is that the worst prime minister in living memory will get his marching orders. Put him up against a wall for the crimes he’s commited against the state and it’s people then I’ll be happy ish

34. It’s not just Johnson at fault, it’s him and the Conservatives. Getting rid of Johnson won’t achieve much beyond a bit of schadenfreude. Sunak would continue the bullshit albeit with less clowning. Be careful what you wish for.
