Unhappy New Year for Boris? Six in 10 Britons want PM ousted after grim run of sleaze allegations, ‘Partygate’ and Covid infighting – with Rishi Sunak seen as best Tory replacement

  1. If Sunak goes anywhere near the leadership he needs to be open and transparent about his dealings with the ‘Tufton Street Mafia’ and his negotiations with private firms to sell off the NHS.

Edit: as soon as this got upvoted, it was downvoted.

Absolutely no chance the Matthew Elliot and his compatriots have bots at play is there?

  2. I’ve been saying this for a while now. The Tories are going to oust Boris and bring in Rishi just in time for the next general election so that they can say, ‘look! We’re a new and improved Tory party now!’ The tabloid readers will lap it up and the tories will win by a landslide.

  3. I’d say fire the whole lot of them, the entire shower is corrupt as hell, just some are more so than others.

    Clean slate and start again…

  4. His name is Alexander and fuck off using first names for politicians. Its weird.

Johnson is the worst PM the UK has ever had. Period.

Sunak wont be any better, oh the furlough scheme…. It’s a fucking loan you fools, he’s going to make the country pay back double what they got and then some.

OH and one more thing. Its ian Smith. Fuck off using his middle name like it’s a thing.

Reeks of smogg (the fucking cunt) lied to the Queen and broke the law. I’m going to be there when he’s put in jail.

I also plan to piss on all their graves.

  5. Maybe irrelevant, but when I was taught how to write, I was told to either put “six in ten” or “6 in 10”. Who the hell proof-reads these headlines?

  6. Well yeah it’s about time isn’t it – the Tories can choose a new leader who won’t be *quite* as bad, they can pretend it’s all behind them and people will **still** see the Tories as a safe pair of hands.

Let me off this ride please.

  7. I don’t see the racist Tory voters being happy with Sunak. Then again when you see the mental gymnastics they do to try and justify their continuing support for Brexit I guess they will come up with some way of saying how great he is whilst still screaming for all brown people to be deported 🙄

  8. I love how a nasty billionaire who wants to sell off the NHS is seen as the best replacement in this demonic lot of Tories.

  9. Rishi’s wife is heir to a billionaire fortune. Man’s can’t be bought so that makes him of zero interest to Tory Donors and Think Tanks/Lobby Groups/The Koch Network right now who need someone more malleable. Take Truss at 5/1 & you’ll get a value run for your money.

  10. Any of the uncle toms they have in the tory party would be an awful replacement (probably at the same level as the white toffs), but it would be especially funny seeing the racist pricks both hating immigrants and brown people and trying to praise a the child of an immigrant or an immigrant as PM.

  11. There is no decent replacement, any likely Tory is just as scummy as Bozo. If you believe a Tory then you’re part of the problem. There are alternatives, but for all your protestations you’re not prepared to do anything other than write on a ballot paper.

I suppose one good thing that may come out of this is that the worst prime minister in living memory will get his marching orders. Put him up against a wall for the crimes he’s commited against the state and it’s people then I’ll be happy ish

  12. > Rishi Sunak seen as best Tory replacement

I mean there’s not really *any* great options left but… *really*?

  13. Not that I like the guy but this is more bullshit journalism.
    >A poll for MailOnline

That being a said I can’t work out what’s best a leadership debate during a pandemic and Brexit or the damage this guy would do

  14. So Sunak, who is not demonstrably less corrupt than any random Tory, is the “best” replacement. Well done Goldman Sachs. Get your man in at the top, right after your useful idiot trashes the economy…

  15. It’s not just Johnson at fault, it’s him and the Conservatives. Getting rid of Johnson won’t achieve much beyond a bit of schadenfreude. Sunak would continue the bullshit albeit with less clowning. Be careful what you wish for.
