Cancelo played as LB against Porto but I feel he displayed the skills required to be a LW. He is a great ball carrier, has more running power than Felix, can beat his man on the touchline and in the half spaces. He is good at shooting and cut backs too. Combine that with Balde overlapping runs and Pedri playing his preferred LCM controlling role, there’s a lot of potential for seamless dynamic in possession. Fermin is probably our best interior on the right side. Kounde doesn’t like playing RB but he works well there. Yamal wouldn’t be forced to play on the touchline since Kounde can make overlapping runs.
