Postnord cannot order its employees to deliver mail to Tesla. This is what the company wrote to the Solna district court in its opinion on the electric car manufacturer’s lawsuit, according to TT.
“Postnord’s position in a conflict that we are basically outside of, has been that the right to strike is constitutionally protected and therefore applies over the distribution obligation in the Postal Act,” the company writes in a press release that the news agency has seen.
The background to the lawsuit is that Postnord did not deliver Tesla’s registration plates, because the postmen are members of trade unions that strike in sympathy with Tesla in the company’s conflict with IF Metall.
The Solna district court must now decide what obligations Postnord has pending trial

They’re just playing into Elons hands like he wanted all along. Another masterful gambit sir!
Good I wish the Swedish workers victory in getting their way.
Get fucked Elon.
– sincerely, Swedish workers rights
When will Elon visit ~~Norway~~ Sweden and end the strike with his brilliant rhetorical skills in no time?
/s obvsly
It’s pretty clear that Sweden is closed for business
Dear Musk, about the lawsuit, this isn’t the first time a large company has come to us and said we don’t need unions and tried to wiggle around it, yes even companies bigger than yours.
Initially building a plant in a country with strong unions, what was the plan?
Why did he even build the plant in Sweden and not another EU country with more corruption and weak unions?
There is only one postal service in Sweden
Good luck. Power to peope! Power to unity!
It’s PostNord, they don’t deliver packages normally either.
Is Elon going to “fuck off” also Postnord, and let the Earth decide also the fate of these license plates?
Not sure how well Postnord work in Sweden, but in Norway they deliver stuff to the wrong place anyway, so they can just do that in Sweden and get the same result.
I avoid them as much as I can 🙂
There may be reasons to support the union, I don’t see them but they may exist.
Competitiveness is not one of them. Neither the US nor China have these problems. Driving away capital is eventually going to handicap these countries.
Based Postnord.
Way to go Sweden!
It’s fucking wild to see so many people defending a billionaire who would literally (documented fact) fire you for looking him in the eye if you worked in one of his facilities. Is your tongue sore from the constant boot-licking?
I really dont get it. Why are people striking against a company that they dont work and how can that be legal?

And tomorrow headline will be:” Musk has paid 20billion dollars to Russia to invade Skandinavia and break unions”
