  1. Good gawd, how dumb and useless does your daughter have to be to not make it into college on her own merits and two boatloads of raw nepotism that you need to go all the way to fraudulent SAT scores?

  2. Why is the Mom ALWAYS the one on trial? No excuse for what they did, but I’m certain William Macy is culpable as well. You never hear shit about his involvement.

  3. Should have just sent her to school in a different college more suitable for the daughter’s abilities. This was all vanity.

  4. She looks amazing but this ordeal was weird and dumb in my opinion but I’m not rich

  5. Had to ..such elitist crap …you are just a person nothing more…

  6. I can’t understand this. If your daughter can’t get into a college, she’s either not bright enough, didn’t study or has testing difficulties. To do this is IMHO, reprehensible.

  7. If she hadn’t broken the law for the child of two wealthy celebrities, that kid would’ve had no shot at a future. That’s a good look felicity

  8. That’s what she has to say? Why even give her a platform? No one wants to hear that, give me a break. I tried to read the article but it made me angry. It is not helping your child to do what she did, it’s just teaching them to cheat and reinforcing inequality. Not all parents would do the same for their kids, many parents try to let their kids learn how to succeed by actually trying and failing.

  9. I clicked on the link to read the article thinking that it was a sensational out of context line… It was not. Everything in the article is so much worse.

  10. Instead of helping her daughter, she’s actually tainted her daughter’s life with one of the most stupid statements ever. Ever heard of hiring a tutor, Felicity?

  11. >“They came into my home. They woke my daughters up at gunpoint. Again, nothing new to the Black and brown community. Then they put my hands behind my back and handcuffed me, and I asked if I could get dressed,”

Really Felicity, really. How about you leave black people out of this?

  12. “It felt like I had to give my daughter a chance at a future,” “And so it was sort of like my daughter’s future, which meant I had to break the law.”

A multi millionaire white woman with more privilege and opportunity than most of us could ever imagine was worried about her daughters future if she didn’t get into college? Give me a break. I’ve lost all respect for her.

‘I had to break the law’ is absolutely pathetic. Take responsibility and Apologise for your behaviour, do not try and excuse it in anyway shape or form.

  13. She obviously learned nothing and to try to bring up “I’m just like minorities ” regarding how she felt about her arrest….just wow!

She has had years to not just think about her actions, but to process and make change. Clearly she’s done nothing but spa treatments to alleviate her “stress ”

After this round of Felicity information/well-deserved backlash, I will not ever believe she “gets” anything.

  14. I’ve never understood why Felicity Hoffman was charged and not her child. Her child was an adult and ultimately it was their admissions application. If someone understands why I would love to know.

  15. The framing in this article is putrid. She “found herself embroiled,” it was “an ordeal” for her. No, dumbass, she committed a crime and she faced consequences. When one of the little people steals something, the newspaper doesn’t write that they “found themselves embroiled.”

  16. She should have donated to the school. That’s the way to do it.

  17. Don’t forget: She can relate to blacks since armed cops with GUNS DRAWN stormed her peaceful residence.

  18. Swindled podcast did a good episode about the admission scandal and Rick Singer.

  19. Her daughter was so at such a disadvantage she had to break the law. PLEASE

  20. And this was to get into USC wasn’t it? I know it’s competitive, but it’s not like your life is irrevocably changed if you don’t go to USC.

  21. It would be wise to be contrite if she wants to build back up her reputation. But nope, she just keeps on digging.
