  1. Returning from the trench was my favourite part.

    *”Don’t touch my legs, butcher”*

*”Any wounded* ***WOMEN*** *among you?” “You wish”*

LOL. Thanks for the edit u/xtanol

Great footage, with some battlefield humour in there. Felt like they were all going to end up wounded as the clip progressed.

  2. Holy shit, that bit with the tank rolling past, just meters from them…

  3. This is genuinely insane footage. Level of bravery is off the charts. There’s a ridiculously strong bond between them all.

  4. Just stick your finger in it an see what’s up with that mother fucker. Goddamn.

  5. Most intense video I have seen on this sub. The medics hands trembling really brought out the fear.

  6. Groont is a badass!!! Amazing footage. Red holding her own with the lads.

  7. Chilling to watch. Felt bad for them but so calm. Russia is a disgrace.

  8. “Tanks are bulldozing us!”

“Blah blah blah.. who is this?”

    “Red!!”

Why was the radio guy so nonchalant lmao

  9. Jew….”They run no more”.

    Groont….”You`re my hero” *fistbump

That made me laugh more than it should.

    Fantastic esprit de corps.

  10. That is the first time I’ve ever seen a first person view with sound of legit trench operations. The part with the armor rolling by was bone chilling. I was in awe at the fact that the CO had to actually say “keep your voice down they will here you.” When you could hear the Russians yelling for them to surrender was another holy shit moment. I’m so relieved they made it out.

  11. I can’t imagine being there, and I certainly can’t imagine being there day after day. This was miserable and terrifying and stressful, and this is a *feelgood* story with no deaths. We’ve all seen huge groups being taken out, the survivors writhing in pain, the suicides, dismemberments, the surrealist corpse littered hellscapes, etc…

The heaviest ordinance ever lobbed my way was harsh language and maybe a drunken fist or two, neither of which hit me. I can’t help but be fascinated by this stuff – it’s a reality so alien to my own.

  12. Wow what an NCO…. And this is a significant video, probably the first I’ve seen of a woman in combat like this.

  13. So worth watching. You can hear the Russians and worse the armor. Brave men fighting for there country. Long but worth the watch.

  14. This footage was insane. We’ve all seen hundred of videos like this from drone perspective, but not many this long from the first person perspective with translation. These people are the bravest of the brave.

  15. Red is such an MVP here. Keeping the wounded “Alkaida” calm and conscious by asking his parents’ names, rapid assessment of damage, packing a wound with whatever she’s got on hand. Good work under pressure.

  16. That was unreal.

Their banter is like something out of a movie.

    >”The next time I tell you to give me a rifle and leave me behind, you do it!”

    >”The next time you tell me to leave you behind, I’m smacking you in the gob with my buttstock until you shut up.”

  17. Absolutely insane video. The feeling of “oh fuck” as more and more of them started getting wounded. The tanks rolling by just outside their trench. The Russians being so close you could hear them taunting them. The sound of the drone buzzing over them. The NCO being so chill and leading his team. What a video.

  18. My wondering why one guy got stuck with the nickname Alkaida was quickly answered by a shot of his face. Understandable. Salaam Aleikum, Alkaida.

  19. I’d like to mention that the person who is leading the platoon(Oleg Sentsov) is a famous Ukrainian filmmaker who was also imprisoned in 2014 in Crimea by russians (for 20 years) and returned to Ukraine in 2019 in prisoners swap between Ukraine and russia

  20. My main takeaway is get them more shit. More Bradley’s more weapons more ammo more shit.
