We’re seeing some protest groups of wives/mothers in Russia already (of Russians mobilized last year). Will be nice to see the delayed effects of all the recent heavy losses later.
One cruise missile went kaboom prematurely. A few more Ukrainians won’t go without power this winter.
While we’re on the subject of upticks, something I’ve noticed is the recent lack of confirmed downed aircraft. Why is that? Russia is too scared to engage against Ukrainian air defense, or did they realize that once the F-16s arrive, they’d be severely outclassed? A darker line of thinking is that they’re holding back for attacks on energy infrastructure. Hope that last one isn’t the case.
APVs and vehicles and fuel tanks being neck and neck is surprising to me.
I’d think supply vehicles, being cheaper and easier to kill would be higher. I guess if you just use APVs to ferry meat to the grinder, that happens.
I wonder what they do on the 24th. Driving home or dying alone for Christmas?
