I hadn’t realised it had never made it to number 1. Given the popularity I always assumed it had.
The last 5 years have been LadBaby but they are not releasing one this year so it would be a nice tribute to MacGowan and of course to Kirsty MacColl who died so tragically in December 2000 saving her sons life.
Should almost certainly be, given how much other stuff of theirs is being played at the moment to circumvent the no repeat guarantee on Absolute
