    The attack wasn’t bad but fuck me – the whole banking on other Muslims to join in, the West condemning and not supporting Israel for being too heavy handed etc. None of their expected responses happened and Northern Gaza is destroyed and annexed by Israel.

    They picked a fight with a country that is as racist and hate filled as they are!

    Taliban and Al Queda were intelligent. They drew us into a war we couldn’t win and then waltzed back to power when we left.

  13. The fact that Hamas did not release the young women abducted from the Nova music festival is truly horrific and not discussed nearly enough.

    They were willing to release the older women and children but not the young women. I wonder why…

  19. Now I’m no expert on hostage taking but surely one of the main points is to know many, where they are and most importantly keep them alive as bargaining chips. This isn’t only cruel it’s bloody stupid for their own goals

  20. I doubt they actually know with much certainty, at any given time…there will be multiple factions involved, as ever, each with a batch of hostages, probably rumours circling about one faction initiated by another, truths, untruths and bartering throughout.

    I fear some hostages may be in the hands of those *not* so obedient of leadership, and more inclined towards cruelty.

  22. This is how you know their casualty numbers are bullshit. They can give ‘exact’ numbers of civilian deaths every day, but keeping track of 240 people that they brought in is too hard.
