  1. Ah here.. maybe people voted after they’d had a few Guinness and weren’t thinking straight

  2. “And if you look above you, you’ll see you’re standing under the biggest pint of guinness in the world” … get ta fuck

The whole tour should be called “the most espensive free pint of guinness”

  3. Just like Spike Island in Cork being voted ditto not long ago.

  4. Wow. You’d have thought that the Indo would take a look at this, know it was bullshit, and then not print it. But no.

I’ve been to the Taj Mahal and the Grand Canyon… And I’ve been to the Guinness Storehouse. 2 make you feel genuine awe, the storehouse is a kind of ok way to entertain guests for a few hours before you go out on the lash

  5. Guinness store house is actually class

So much better than it was ten years ago

  6. The Grand canyon actually is an underwhelming experience. It requires planning way in advance. Most cannot actually get to the bottom.

You want a canyon on the Colorado with accessibility? Plenty of available sport starting with MTB and hiking ?

    Moab Utah.

My cousin infamously filmed many of his movies in the vicinity or to the South of there prior to paved roads. There’s a museum dedicated to his principal actor (John Wayne) in the town. It’s also the home of the Original Marlboro Man.

You can camp for weeks without seeing people. Go on the desert flats, inside the canyon, on top of 6000 meter high mountains.

There’s a reason that the Grand Canyon gets voted “down.” There are other places which are a lot more fun.

  7. Quick, r/Ireland tell me how this is a negative thing

  8. I grew up a 10mins walk from this and I’ve never once visited.

Need to go and check it out but maybe it’d be wasted a local?
