  1. Reeeaally that’s who they’re going for. She has been in government for what seems forever without ever having an achievement. A small minded culture warrior isn’t the way forward for them. She’ll crash and burn fast.

  2. I mean out of the current cabinet, she definitely strikes me as a true empty vessel that’s willing to be a mouthpiece for literally anything as long as she’s rewarded with enough power and influence.

She’s come out with some of the most bizarre and wooden phrases I’ve seen from any politician in a very long time.

So for people behind the scenes, someone who will unquestioningly spout whatever absolute nonsense is on the teleprompter, she’s an ideal candidate.

  3. Are we seeing a tory version of Yes, Minister PM selection process, compromise candidate thats maliable with no firm opinion or intellectually committed to anything and can be ~~manipulated~~ professionally guided?

  4. The IRONy lady

Remainer delivering a brexit shitshow and now being lined to be the muppet at the helm of a union heading to the dogs.

Time to put feet up, grab popcorn and watch as she desperately tries to polish a turd.

  5. I’m surprised. I thought Priti Patel would be a shoo in but I guess she has more fixed ideas.
I can see conservatives being “2 women leaders and 1 WOC” towards labour.

  6. Liz Truss taking a page out of Colonel* Ruth Davidson’s book with the tank photo. It’s practically mandatory for female tory leader wannabes now.

    *Now Baroness
