  1. Republicans cheat because they know they can’t win in a fair election.

  2. Republicans have learned that the courts will not actually penalize them for ignoring rulings they don’t like.

  3. “We assumed the majority of Black voters wouldn’t vote for us so why do they even need to vote” 🙄

  4. Then isn’t it time to hold them in contempt of court?

  5. They need to have a genuinely fair map already set to go. Then, if they can’t get it drawn to a minimum standard by the deadline? Too bad, you default to using this computer generated one now for the next election. Unfair? Well, first of all it’s actually as fair as you can get, you just don’t have an advantage anymore so you don’t like it. Second, you should’ve thought about that before trying to pull shit.

  6. If the new maps defy the court order, the precedent in other states for this is for the courts to draw up the maps instead of the legislature.

  7. Imagine working everyday, not to better anyone’s circumstance, but just to be a dick

  8. So sick of republicans ignoring laws. Put them in jail until they can comply.

  9. They believe that MAGA will get Trump elected. After that America will no longer be a democracy.

  10. Then why the fuck are they allowing them to be the ones to redraw it??

  11. The Georgia court should hold each and every one of these legislators for contempt and put them in jail until they comply.

  12. Judges need to start showing them maps that favor the other party and tell them if they don’t follow the order this is the map they will make them follow.

  13. I feel like that photo could be captioned ‘Who here is a disgusting racist?’

  14. The Republicans finally found a way to suppress the votes of those that do not vote for them while simultaneously giving the Supreme Court the 🖕. It’s a damn shame that these degenerates are being allowed to do this all over the country right now.

  15. How about jail time for blatant refusal to follow court orders.

  16. I like how this title can be read two opposing ways, but we all already know which way they meant it

  17. and they’ll argue its too close to next year’s elections to change them because they cribbed notes from Ohio

  18. Republicans are exploiting the fact that the courts have no authority to enforce their rulings. The rule of law is enforced by law enforcement and law-abiding citizens. And given that so many conservatives run in law enforcement circles, it’s no surprise that GOP is emboldened to defy court orders.

  19. do we have to send in another Sherman to teach these Georgians a final lesson? what will it take?

  20. If you’re an old white obsolete male who doesn’t believe in democracy raise your hand…

  21. Oh look a bunch of yt men voting to take rights away from others……I’m shocked

  22. Here for the courts to say “While unconstitutional it’s too close to the election to do anything.

  23. Re: See Alabama redistricting maps Supreme Court ruling

  24. /SCOTUS guts Voting Rights Act because racism no longer exists

  25. The one on the left is Steve Gooch, who at one point was the sole commissioner of Lumpkin County while still being a real estate broker. He used that position to change county regulations to favor developers who coincidentally used him to broker real estate deals. He’s been used to doing blatant obvious bull shit.

  26. What diversity in that panel: all different tie colors; some vibrant!

  27. Then punish them for it. Laws without enforcement aren’t laws, they’re mere suggestion.

  28. They don’t want you to vote because if you vote? They’re out. Forever.
