This mornings sillyness. The Nationwide Building Society must’ve sounded quite silly when it opened it’s first branch. .

1. I’ll point out now… I am fun at parties.

   But Nationwide was a rebranding of another building society which had merged with a few other building societies followed fairly swiftly by mergers with a couple more giving it a nationwide footprint from pretty much day one.

   (For the love of god never look up the history of these things, it’s confusing as hell)

3. Did the bloke who did the new branding just think, how close can we get to the NatWest?

4. My Nationwide logo account on my phone screen looks exactly like my Natwest logo now, bloody confusing!
   Nationwide has plagiarised the Natwest logo.

5. Nationwide is one of the very few Building Societies left in the UK. Most of the others converted to Banks in the 80’s
