If that’s a genuine paraphrase of what she’s said then it’s naive. There’s no particular reason to think a psychopath would tell his daughter the “full truth”.
That said, I can totally understand her wanting to meet him. Peoples origin stories are very important to them, even if mired in crime and psychopathy.

Why now? is she being pushed by one of the tabloids?
Why in the world would you go public with this?? If she wants to meet him…. just go do it?? You dont have to announce it – she definitely has my sympathies, I’m sure having him for a father is tough but if I were her I’d want my name as far away from him as possible

He only killed 2 people and both in the same incident. He’s not a serial killer.

I don’t think what he did qualifies him as a serial killer. It makes him a child murderer
