  1. Nice! Next step is giving it wheels and call it, I don’t know, an APC?

  2. Leg-powered unarmed makeshift tank to cover vast distances in open fields in the age of omnipresent drone surveillance and warfare.

No wonder they need another 170k infantry to replenish the ranks.

  3. Oh, sir, if we should happen to tread on a mine, what do we do?

Well, normal procedure, Lieutenant, is to jump up 200 feet into the air and scatter yourself over a wide area.

  4. We have metal gear solid at home…

    Metal gear solid at home:

  5. Lie on the ground under it, and you won’t be spotted. Meanwhile, your body-heat is warming the ground under you and flattening the grass nicely. As soon as you crawl two metres, your heat-shadow will show up nicely to the drone for 5-10 minutes, and you don’t want that. You really don’t.

  6. fuhrer putinazi propaganda chief propagandist, Lieutenant General Igor Yevgenyevich Konashenkov

“moscovia is NOT running out of IFVs or APCs.”

any similarities to Muhammad Saeed Al-Sahhaf are completely incidental.

BTW, the latest report is 10,396 IFV/APC destroyed.

  7. This is just sad, and makes it seem like they’re running out of vehicles.

It would be funny if there weren’t so much death. Instead it’s just depressing and pathetic.

  8. It’s not a terrible idea if it protects from dropped grenades or being spotted by drones but this is russia. So with that in mind it’s a great idea, go for it russia! Wrap your soldiers in heavy, highly visible but poor visibility duck blinds.

  9. Flintstones APC IRL. Yabba dabba doo (and yaga jagga jagga!)

  10. So a poor substitute for a ghillie suit with more steps?

  12. And when they come out from under the cocoon, they are still a mess. What a rip off.
