No dents were made. The insurance has a franchise of €1000 so I will have to pay but how much?
And will they try to fool me?

  1. Try some wd-40 to get it off – at least the biggest part looks like smearing on the surface. You have to report the damage, but you could try some damage control

  2. If you have a law insurance, try to utilize it to haggle down the price. Otherwise be sure to pay the whole 1000€ for that.

  3. I would add that there is another damaged part exactly in this area (a little bit more to the right) and it is damaged heavily: dents and even a hole in the metal. This one wasn’t done by me and was included to the visual inspection check-out.
Could it affect my payment (in decreasing way)?

  4. Try to buff it out with car polish, drive some kilometres over a wet autobahn and give it back. (In Minecraft)

  5. And could I maybe use a Haftpflichtversicherung in such a case? In fact, I made a damage that costs €1000, basically no difference to a regular case

  6. Been there.

    1000€ not yours.

I was lucky because i reduced the amount to 200 or 300€ – took the better package.
