23. Empire Biscuit. I don’t know how people can mistake it for a Bakewell Tart as it’s not a tart.

    The usual jelly tot on top has been replaced with a cherry, making it a cherry empire biscuit.

24. German Biscuit. Although I was in a Scottish coffee shop a few years back and asked for one only to be told, “It’s an Empire Biscuit, we won the war…” I was a little perplexed after that interaction!
