I’m genuinely curious about people’s thoughts/experiences of TFL’s newest superloop. Mainly asking cause I never heard of it until they opened it. How’s the intake? Does it serve a purpose/does it not? Do you use it?

It seems a bit of a rebranding exercise (though I note new routes are to be added). I’m still referring to my nearest one as the X26 and I’ll continue to do so.
The x26 going up to every 15 minutes was great for my commute. I’ve not tried any of the other lines but I support the initiative, although I think only one or two are actually new routes? Most others just had minor tweaks iirc
For my purpose of getting around short distances of under 5 miles, buses are the most time consuming unreliable fuckin insane thing in the UK. Stuff gets delayed, break downs, wait long times for them to come as they’ve not been on schedule, I’m considering getting an e bike or just walking around
A fast bus (40 min but 35 of them non-stop) from parts of Norwood/Crystal Palace way that aren’t near stations to the centre of town, every 13-14 min, is most welcome – even though I’m unlikely to use it myself unless coming home and trains are messed up, it should relieve pressure on other services.
Question is whether other services are.being cut in response?
