An **expensive** tragedy, at that.
Not just in human costs, but actual money.
Right now, it’s pennies on the dollar, undermining Russia.
Never again, will the free world see this kind of opportunity to neuter Russia, and collapse it’s terrorist regime from afar.
Ukrainians are fighting for their right to exist. Funding them fully is in the interest of everyone.
Russia needs to collapse, be demilitarized, and forced to pay.
If Putin wins in Ukraine, then in 3-5 years there is nothing to stop him from getting to Lisbon. Nothing. An army of Russian zombies plus a few million Ukrainians with war experience is unstoppable. That is why we should help Ukraine.

It’s easy to give promises of always being there until the end and defending democracy and freedom against imperialist expansion and genocide when the Ukrainians pushed the occupiers from the north, did the Kharkiv counter offensive and retook Kherson, in other words when they were winning. But if at the first signs of trouble, namely this current counter offensive, we start backing down, then I really don’t know how much the West’s word is worth. And I’m sure every imperialistic authoritarian country will also be taking notes. And it’s especially concerning when the West hasn’t even provided all the required weapons systems to Ukraine. The fact that Ukraine has done all that they have done so far without some critical weapons systems against Russia, one of the biggest military powers in the world, is astonishing.
I do not know about you guys, but I do not want to live in a world where the West basically says that you can do a little bit of imperialistic expansion and genocide in Europe as long as it takes a year or two, because we are so bitch-made that we get war fatigue when we aren’t even the ones at war.
Feels bad for Ukraine, but NATO is the threat to peace in the world.
It seems like a Putin victory is all but inevitable given recent events.
