Plans to allow pubs to stay open longer for Queen’s platinum jubilee Tags:United Kingdom 5 comments Staying in the pub until 1am three nights in a row, what a tribute to the Queen… It’s very brave of them to plan a party 6 months in advance to celebrate a 95 year old. Long live the queen!! Personally not a massive fan of the concept of a royal family, but more holidays and national celebrations are good…… so guess I will take it? If anyone asks that day, I’m a Royalist through and through. At least that’s what I’ll say when I call in hungover to work the next day I never got why on earth the government or anyone has the right to tell places when they have to shut… You would think the “libertarians” would get rid of needless government interference.
