There was one back in 2005 on the PS2, Gaelic Games Football, and a sequel Gaelic Games Football 2 in 2007. Would be interesting to see someone else try to make something similar.

I’d say a modded fifa or pes would be the better than an actual original game
I know there was one but I mean what if there was one now, made by a company like EA. Obviously it would never happen because it wouldn’t make enough money but it’s just a concept

i once wrote a letter to EA Sports campaigning them to have a hurling game made – circa 2000.
the letter was ignored and a separate game studio released one later that was never a patch on anything that id expected of EA.
maybe we try write a group letter or something again?

I would love a good GAA game inter county and a few big senior clubs in the game.
Also a football manager style GAA game be unreal too bringing a small village club up through the ranks to senior. But unfortunately since we can’t even get a good rugby game not much hope for GAA
Would love it but they won’t make a game to make a good game. They’ll make a game to make money. A game with a target audience almost exclusively in Ireland wouldn’t interest them
Would need to be an indie developer if it was to be made nowadays. Be a very niche game to make, could attract some attention from people unfamiliar with GAA though. PS2 era was a golden age, so many gems.

Because it’s an amateur sport, there would be massive licensing issues and you couldn’t use real player names. Was the same back in the previous GAA games back in whenever it was, 2004/2005 maybe.
But I’m sure there’s definitely an appetite for it here anyway, but it would be sh*te. Those Rugby games they still realise are absolutely rubbish with their PS2 style graphics, so I’d expect the same. It’s likely something a small developer would have to make because I couldn’t see a big company like EA even considering anything like this.
