A pure boondoggle. It serves no purpose to try distract the easily distractible. Making the UK significantly worse chasing these pointless plans.
Just start ignoring the ECHR and paying the paltry fine to deport people properly, like France are doing.
The Rwandan government is rinsing the UK government for even more than you could make selling them dodgy PPE – which I thought was the best moneyspinner so far.
It’s interesting how the UK will spend billions to punish people but be tight fisted to help people.
With all the court battles and ballyhoo over this, you’d assume it’d have been just simpler and easier deporting people back to their country of origin and not trying to dump them in Rwanda.
For the argument of it, you could say it’ll have a large upfront cost, but if it starts and people know when u get to the UK you won’t get to stay just straight removed, there may be a decline in irregular entries
