21,000 empty seats, stadium 39% empty for a match between two of the league’s three best-supported teams. By comparison, Premier League stadiums consistently 93-99% full capacity. Speaks volumes of Spain’s ticket prices, match timings and general indifference to match-going fans.

  1. Sunday night, game is in Montjuïc, the view from the seats isn’t that good and the ticket costs an arm and a leg. Sure it’s a bit disappointing but kinda makes sense

  2. PL crowd is st else man. Wish la liga was as friendly to the crowd too

  3. Is it also very hard to get to the stadium as opposed to camp nou?

  4. Even my friend who does not watch football questioned this today and she was so surprised that a team like barca does not have a full stadium or more active supporters and my answer was the insane ticket prices as well as the lack of support from the true fans their (can again be attributed to ticket prices)
