The fact that Trump pardoned two GOP operatives from the same photo taken in 1989 just shows how deep the rot goes.

I hate any of these articles about his pardons that don’t include the fact that he released blackwater mass murderers.

The pardon power is so stupid. Why a group of men, who were afraid of a tyrant coming to power, decided to give one person a unilateral power is beyond me. Hell, even some of the Framers realized it could be used nefariously (“*the prerogative of pardon in these cases was too great a trust. The President may himself be guilty. The Traytors may be his own instruments*”).
