Can we really fuel planes with fat and sugar? For sustainable air fuel to work, it’s going to need a staggering amount of land.

1. It’s a silly idea that uses far too many resources and is an idea, pun intended, that will never take flight.

2. Just another feint in our losing battle to stop fossil fuel interests from destroying the planet.

4. Gonna be hard to make biofuels when the crops fail.

5. When you’re making “biofuel” from crops, what you’re really doing is having those vehicles compete with humans for food. So… how many children have to starve to death for your flight?
