Please help me, it feels so gross!!
I recently ordered all my winter needs from zalando.
While I was going through the items, I noticed something stuck to the return slips: IT WAS A WORM!! You know, one of those moth worms. Couple of years ago I had so much trouble in my house with those. And I know once they get in, it’s so hard to get rid of.
So I took a picture and video of the thing and asked zalando. All they said was return and we will refund.
I find this hard to accept and would like to make an official complaint to authorities. Anyone has an idea where and how?
Did any of you go through such a problem?
Thank you in advance. It’s gross but I added the picture as well.

What should they have done instead in your opinion?

Complain because you found an insect in your parcel whose origin is unknown? This looks like a flour moth, it may just have crawled into your parcel on the way to your house. They can crawl pretty far and chew through plastic.

I get that you’re grossed out, but I’m really struggling to think of a reason for an “official complaint” and an authority to place it with.

  2. looks like a food moth larva. Kill it before those things start to infest all your wheat based products. They’re a pain to eradicate once they settle in.

  3. Assuming those are clothes, are any potentially eggs going to survive a 3 hour 40 degrees wash programme? How resilient are moth eggs anyway?

  4. I wouldn’t care that much to be honest. Its one larvae. Kill it, wash the clothes, done.
