Hard to picture some kind of staunch republican taxi driver blowing up at use of ‘the south’. That would seem to be the type of term they would like rather than dislike.

What do people get from making shit like this up? No driver would ever put you out of a taxi for saying the south.
This doesn’t even make any sense. I live in one of the staunchest Republican areas of West Belfast and people say “the South” all the time. And no one has ever batted an eyelid. Definitely a made up story. Never happened. Where was this even posted?
