  2. Power faults happen all the time, you just rarely hear about them unless it’s your street.

  5. If you were an NIE engineer, couldn’t you log your own faults then ‘fix’ them for some free overtime? I reckon during busy periods like after storms and during winter in general there wouldn’t be too much job auditing going on…

  6. Theres a pretty massive solar storm (probably not the right term, I am but a layman) happening ATM. No idea if that can cause power outages but our power was blinking on and off like fuck last night just after 2am
