Ukraine 🇺🇦 has saved most of their modern NATO equipment from the previous offensive so they can use it in a larger offensive in the future, certain types of armored vehicles and IFVs have not taken even 5% losses

  1. Ok. Here’s the problem though. The way things stand, Ukraine can’t try using them in an offensive without big losses. The whole reason why Ukraine is holding off on using them is because, during the summer offensive, an attempt at a major mechanized offensive resulted in big losses, because of Russia’s mines, artillery, drones, KA-52s etc. So, unless Ukraine receives something that can shake up the current status quo, that modern NATO equipment might remain in reserve for who knows how long.

  2. A smart person said a while back in the war that we will not see F-16’s and Abrams until the US is 100% sure they have the upper hand.

I shrugged it off at the time, but took note. Let’s see how this plays out.

  3. It’s true, but their infantry is quite exhausted, by what you can read.

  4. But Clownashenkov says he destroyed 750% of all NATO wespons ever produced. Who can be lying here?

  5. I mean it’s technically true as some types haven’t been used in combat yet, but they’ve lost a lot more than 5% of western armored vehicles overall. The guy who runs this account is not remotely objective.

I think the more interesting thing from the Washington Post article today is that Ukraine supposedly isn’t even asking for more armor. That they were for last years war, but are not worth the political cost to request for use in the battlefield today with thousands of $1000 FPV drones and millions of mines. They could probably lose 100% of the vehicles and it wouldn’t make meaningful difference. Drones, Infantry, HIMARS and Artillery are king.

  6. We’re all waiting for the F16s to arrive, once that happens the tide will turn, no meat waves or North Korean junk will help Russia then

  7. That’s expected really. No use in bringing in the most valuable and least available machinery just to trigger mines and run into miles of trenches. Better to wait until they have a serious breach of the defense lines.

I hope they get more engineering machines and all the long range missiles they need. Perhaps when they get the f-16s they’ll have some serious long range capacity?

  8. I’m a firm believer in whatever Valerij Zaloezjnyj thinks is best.

    Slava Ukraini!
