  1. > banned from driving despite telling a court it would jeopardise her chances of going to the 2024 Olympics

Because she was planning to drive to get there.

  2. Bianca pulls the racism card!

    It’s not very effective….

  3. The very epitome of honesty and integrity. And if Ms Williams moved out of the way we’d be able to see them standing behind her.

  4. Six month ban is utterly stupid. Should rip up her licence and start again from theory. Clearly no care at all.

And of course she attempts to use her athletics background to get a pardon from her crimes.

  5. That’s the way to stick it to the Police……..commit the same offence 3 times 🙄

  6. I’ve got no sympathy. I trained for the Paralympics living in London AND working full time for the NHS AND and got public transport to every session AND worked a second job coaching. If she cares she’ll find a way, and if she doesn’t find a way then I’m not sure what all her mental resilience training she’ll have done was good for.

  7. I find this sad because it undermines the whole stop and search.

She’s clearly a pretty awful person to accrue that many points. I’ve been driving 18 years and never had a single point. Probably driven something like 200,000 miles.

She needs to have a serious think about what she’s done. It is defining her.

  8. She even used the race card to get two offices sacked.

  9. I love it when people appear on reddit and I have no idea who they are. My disengagement from legacy media must be working.

  10. So they gave her 18 for this bringing her up to 29 total. She must be a terrible driver who doesn’t care as she already had 11 points before this.

  11. > The sprinter, who lives in the Maida Vale area of west London with her partner, said it was “massively inconvenient” to get to the central London athletics track where she trains using public transport and “really hard” to get to her tennis coaching sessions in north London without a car.

Well yes, welcome to the world the rest of us live in. Too many people get let off bans by pleading hardship.

Try a bicycle if you don’t want to get public transport. If you ask your coach it might slot in nicely into your training programme.

Regardless of the original stop and search; you can’t just not respond to the police when they ask you who was driving, especially when you’ve already got 11 points on your licence.

Should be grateful it’s only a 6 month ban and a small fine.

  12. I don’t have one shred of sympathy for her, she seems like a terrible person. Time to reap what you sow!

  13. Two public service personnel lost their jobs.

Anyways, no one can say anything because it’ll be racist
