I’m not sure how I feel about that, erring towards being supportive of it. The impounding of vaccines always seemed like a jealous attack by the EU after we’d negotiated contracts before they did, for a vaccine developed here. I’m a remainer btw.

I wonder how much of that is down to the civil service managing to work around his craziest ideas and how much is down to his immense laziness meaning that he couldn’t be arsed to carry out his craziest schemes?
I’m surprised no one has brought this up but most western nations have plans for how to invade just about every neighbour they have, that’s just a part of the modern military

I for one, as a selfish bastard, would approve of this plan in a doomsday scenario. If the alternative was myself, loved ones and millions of other Brits dying I would have happily accepted the consequences to the alternative of death.
