  1. Neo-Scythians. If people can call themselves Druids in the UK census, Hungarians can identify as Scythians. We’re in an age now where words don’t really mean anything any more.

  3. Why is such BS even in the national census? If a country took respect of multiple ethnicities and equality somewhat seriously questions on these things wouldn’t even be in the census, since they wouldn’t matter.

  13. Scythian culture is honestly super interesting. Not saying i’d go far as identifying as a “neo scythian” but as Ukrainian I do find the culture fascinating

  14. Ah, yes. Hungarians being related to modern-day Ossetians. Who would deny similitarity between these two cultures sharing the same main ancestors?

  16. Technically Scythians aren’t extinct. Tats and Alans( Ossetians) are modern descendants of Scythians.

  19. …well, there’s the Jasz? Are Jasz not a separate ethnicity in Hungary? I thought they still existed?
