Even though they’ve been extinct for 2.000 years, Hungary could soon recognize Scythians as an ethnic group after 1371 people in Hungary declared themselves to be Scythians in the national census

Neo-Scythians. If people can call themselves Druids in the UK census, Hungarians can identify as Scythians. We’re in an age now where words don’t really mean anything any more.
but will they recognise jedi knights?
Why is such BS even in the national census? If a country took respect of multiple ethnicities and equality somewhat seriously questions on these things wouldn’t even be in the census, since they wouldn’t matter.
Hungarian larp as Scythian? What else do they pretend to be, Illyrian?
Horse archers back on the rise in Hungary then 👀

I thought the Hungarians wanted to larp as Huns? Really can’t make up their minds can they smh my head
I didn’t realise how influential Civ VI had become.
You cant have a made up gender but can be an extinct nation. Man the rules of thus game are confusing.
Believe me, out of all the weird, crazy or just plain stupid theories some have about our origins, Scythians are among the tamest
As a carthaginian, I find this offensive.
Oddly enough, Scythia crops up in Irish mythology as the place where the legendary warrior Cúchulainn received his training as a fighter:

Scythian culture is honestly super interesting. Not saying i’d go far as identifying as a “neo scythian” but as Ukrainian I do find the culture fascinating
Ah, yes. Hungarians being related to modern-day Ossetians. Who would deny similitarity between these two cultures sharing the same main ancestors?
Can we make Jedi an ethnic group with the census next? Its already an official religion.
Technically Scythians aren’t extinct. Tats and Alans( Ossetians) are modern descendants of Scythians.
Did Scythians gone extinct because of… hunger!?

…well, there’s the Jasz? Are Jasz not a separate ethnicity in Hungary? I thought they still existed?
